RAISING FUNDS FOR VULNERABLE Bi+ REFUGEE IN MALAWI
A, is an former engineering student who reports feeling forced out of a South African country with death threats and the brutal, tragic murders of several friends. The headlines talk often about gay refugees, queer and LGBT, but A, a self-identified, proudly out bi man, says he hasn't been treated well by gay led LGBT orgs when he identified his bisexuality.
A desperately hopes to leave Malawi as soon as possible but has been told he faces an uphill battle as a known "homosexual" to camp officials.
We hope the international community of bi, pan, fluid, and bi+ queer people, and our friends, allies, accomplices and networks can uplift his story and A's need in Malawi as he braves consistent homophobic and biphobic attacks inside the UN Malawi camp.
