BINA Farm Mounting Lift

We are from the Teen Ambassador Program (TAP) for BINA Farm Center in Lexington, MA, and we are raising money for a mounting lift for the differently-abled in order to assist kids in wheelchairs to mount their horse for their therapeutic riding lessons. A mounting lift provides safe and easy transfers of riders, is more gentle for our horses and promotes a sense of independence and confidence in the rider.
This fundraising is particularly meaningful and personal for us because one of our Teen Ambassadors requires the assistance of a wheelchair.
BINA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit* organization that provides a comprehensive therapeutic and recreational environment utilizing Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies, Vocational Training Programs and Creative and Complementary Therapies for children and adults with physical, developmental and emotional challenges (including veteran and women with history of significant trauma including history of sexual abuse).
