Had a letter from Billy today saying how grateful he is for your support he needs approx £150 a month for food and stationary he is so happy for all your help xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
As our friends you are aware of the situation our brother is in and I ask for your support in this hard time.
You may have seen various articles concerning Billy's recent escapades in the US.
His defence was that of entrapment, we all thought entrapment had been proven, especially when the judge in his instructions to the jury before they retired to consider their verdict pointed out 2 blatant instances in their evidence that proves entrapment.The jury were at 10 to 2 for guilty, thank God for the 2 that were on Billy's side.
Billy is not happy with the result but realises it isn't as bad as it could've been.
He had to put the company in the name of his estranged wife when he first went in jail three and half years ago, she has cut him off from all money available and they are now fighting in the courts.
The money for the lawyer and many other things has been raised by some of his friends in the US, family and his friend Charina, I'm sorry to ask this but if anybody can help with any amount of money at all that we can put on his books while he is in prison.
The money will help pay for edible food, books, writing paper, phone calls etc, anything that make his time served easier.
We are so grateful of any help you can give at this tough time.
