Billy Allmon Medical Fund (SEAL ret

Donation protected
The Medical Fund for my husband, Billy Allmon, Retired US Navy SEAL, started out as an acute need that has developed into a long term medical nightmare. Billy and I are sincerely grateful for all of the support of the SEAL Community and the various charities, friends, family, and other kind souls who have stood by our side. Unfortunately, we are still in a battle with Billy’s health and the bills continue to pile up. We have made hard choices with the reality that California is our new ‘home’, and are working hard to stand on our own feet soon. Your continued thoughts and prayers are needed and any financial support you can provide would be such a blessing.
Please take time to read the updates I post. This page is managed by Billy and myself (his wife). All of your donations are going directly to help with the medical care needs of my husband.
I will continue to provide regular updates so you always know how much your support is helping. Please take the time to read the updates, you will see this has been a long road, and we have so much more to go.
The following is how this chapter in our lives began:
Billy Allmon served his country honorably from 1969 to 1993. He retired as a chief petty officer, and is a combat veteran of three wars. While in the SEALs, Mr. Allmon participated in numerous covert and overt missions around the world in support of US and foreign governments, militaries, and other official agencies.
Billy is currently in the hospital in the country of Panama following diagnoses with traumatic brain injury. The Doctors (neurologists) have determined that this injury is at least 15-20 years old. Billy bumped his head very slightly last week and it resulted in significant internal medical trauma. He has been receiving very good care from the doctors in Panama; however, they are at their limit as far as updated machinery for further studies and treatment of his trauma.
Once Billy is deemed ‘fit to fly’ by his physicians, he will be transferred to Mission Viejo California, for treatment at the Mission Hospital, Brain Injury Center, which is much better equipped to handle his injuries and future therapy.
Although the timing of the need is not 100% certain, as it is based on medical clearance, assistance is needed in securing a place to stay near the hospital for the duration of treatment.
Billy and Alice have been responsible for paying for the bills in Panama, and can use financial assistance as well. Tricare will review for approval and may possibly reimburse some, but definitely not all, of the extensive medical bills already incurred and still coming.
A sincere thank you to some wonderful friends, more like family, of Billy and Alice who have already stepped up to cover the flight from Panama to Los Angeles.
Alice and Billy are thankful for all the support, and welcome all the prayers and good thoughts for Billy.

May God always Bless you and your family....HOOYA !! - Alice Allmon
