Billy the Fisherman

My father (Billy the Fisherman) is fighting for his life. He was recently on a fishing trip to Edisto Island, South Carolina. While fishing for blue crabs in the coastal inlet, he was pinched by a crab on his right index finger. The pinch opened a small wound on his finger. Through this small wound a very dangerous, and many times fatal, bacteria called Vibrio Vulnificans entered his blood stream. This is the flesh eating bacteria we've all heard about. He went into septic shock within 20 hours of exposure. He's been fighting for his life since 10/4/2017. If anyone feels like they would like to help please make a donation to this page. All donations will go to medical bills and help family with housing arrangements, as we all live hundreds of miles away from the Hospital he is being treated at. But!
