Billy Day's Pancreatic Cancer Fight

Donation protected
For anyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting Billy Day, you would agree that he is very charismatic, funny, and would do anything for you.  You can usually find him at work, on the golf course or making bets with someone.

Billy is an amazing father of three- Owen 18, Jackson 7, Willa 3 and is supported and encouraged by his love of 14 years and the mother of his children, Marci.  His loving parents are Fran and Dick and his lifetime best friends is his brother Ricky and sisters Patty and Francie.

Billy found himself not feeling well in the recent months. After some testing and numerous visits with his Primary Care Physician, Specialists, the Days didn't realize that they would be faced with a battle ahead.

On November 27, 2017 Billy was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. At the young age of 38, Billy was told he is quite young for this diagnosis.

Billy with Marci along his side has been in contact with the medical team at UC Health Multidisciplinary Pancreatic Clinic in Denver. They have come up with a temporary treatment plan.  To have the mass removed is not an option at this time as arteries are involved. He will have to go through chemotherapy and radiation every two weeks in hopes the mass would shrink so they can possibly remove it. So far, the cancer has not spread.

On 12/5, the medical team will redo an Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) with fine needle aspiration to double check if the mass is adenocarcinoma. Billy will also have a stint put in to hold open the bile duct which will help relieve some pain.  On 12/6 Billy will have a port for chemo put in. Once his jaundice bilirubin levels come down, chemo can start and will be done in Denver.

Billy, a salesperson at Vidmar Motors is hardworking and dedicated to his family.  Billy and Marci will be down to one income while Billy fights cancer.  This page has been created to help the family with medical bills, travel expenses, and to supplement some of the income they will be losing.

Please help Billy Day take on the biggest battle of his life by donating what you can and most of all, your prayers and words of encouragement will be very meaningful.  Thank you for your generosity, we will keep you updated on Billy!
