Throughout much of Unmarked Bills’ career, some people along our journey have doubted his talent. It was his heart and the relationship we have established, that would ultimately take him to the biggest Three Day Event in the country. It was there at Land Rover Kentucky CCI5* that Unmarked Bills rose to the occasion and showed his talent, perseverance, and trust in our partnership.
After a well-earned vacation, we have shifted focus towards gaining additional experience with a goal of Billy and myself becoming more competitive on the international stage. With the support of the Equestrian community, we are hoping to prove that once again Unmarked Bills belongs and is destined for great things. This time at one of the largest CCI5* tracks in the world, Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials.
While we pride ourselves in being a self-funded program, as many of you know the cost of competing at this level is exorbitant. In order to travel and compete at Burghley, we have set up a fundraiser to try and raise the funds that are needed to travel internationally, including but not limited to, Billy’s airfare, ground transportation, and competition fees.
For those who are interested in being a part of the journey to Burghley, we will be accepting donations through our GoFundMe fundraiser. GoFundMe makes it extremely quick and easy to make a donation.
It is the day to day journey that makes these big competitions even more rewarding, and we want you to be a part of the process! Join the #BillsToBurghley Fan Club private Facebook and Instagram page allowing those who donate, a minimum of $50, special access to the inside life of Unmarked Bills. We will be posting photos and videos allowing an insight on Billy’s care, lessons, training as well as the travel and shows leading up to and during Burghley!
What does my donation get me?
$50 Donation. Weekly updates on both the BillsToBurghley Instagram and Facebook Page
$250 Donation. Weekly updates on both the BillsToBurghley Instagram and Facebook page, BillsToBurghley Polo, and autographed photo of Unmarked Bills.
$500 Donation. Weekly updates on both the BillsToBurghley Instagram and Facebook page, BillsToBurghley Polo, autographed photo of Unmarked Bills, and meet and greet during our Burghley send off party.
*A minimum of $50 is required to allow access to the Facebook and Instagram page, however please note any donation is extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.
Additionally, there have been a number of people who have expressed an interest in making personal donations.

A: No, this is a donation to help get Chris and Billy to Burghley. This does not entitle you to any ownership in Billy, or any further expenses.
Q: What happens if he gets injured? Do I get my donation back?
A: It would be extremely unfortunate if he were to get injured however we all know there is a great deal of risk associated with horses. In the event Unmarked Bills gets injured we will use the money that is fundraised towards the development of our high performance program and a further international endeavor.
