Bill's Skin Surgery Fund

In 2014, Bill Pollackov started a journey. A long road from depression and morbid obesity to renewed vigor and health. To date, he has lost an amazing 245 lbs, and has inspired many to start the same journey he has been on. 



Bill came into my life after he had lost about 100 lbs. He was trying to get back in shape, and we met at Trinity Fitness. Within the first week, I knew that there was something different about BIll. His energy and spirit are amazing! 
Last year he ran a 5k, 10k, 15k a half marathon in which I was able to run with him. It was amazing seeing his tenacity.

We also got to complete a Spartan Super together. 8 miles and 30 obstacles and he killed the course!One thing that blew me away was being able to watch Bill go through that course, and in the midst of his struggle, he took the time to encourage and help so many others get through the course. Here he is helping the last of our team over the slip wall.


In the photo, you see that Bill has an excessive amount of skill on his belly and legs. Insurance has decided this is not a health issue, and will not cover the surgery. I would love to be able to give him the gift of this surgery. While he would never say it, the extra skin really gets in the way when he is working out, and especially during the Spartan races when he is doing obstacles. 
Please contribute asap as the surgeon that he has seen has allowed for a potential discount if paid by the end of April. 
If any monies are raised over what the surgery costs, they will be donated to Trinity Fitness Southside, a non-profit gym that Bill and I both support and workout at!
