Surgeries for Bill

Bill Putnam is a father to eight children, six of whom are still living at home and are dependents. He is the sole financial provider for his family as his wife Laura is a homemaker. In June 2014 Bill was diagnosed with bladder cancer and had surgery in July to remove it. Following the procedure it was discovered Bill had complications, and was rushed back to surgery a second time to stop internal bleeding. Three months after this Bill had a scope performed and cancer was discovered a second time. This ultimately resulted in Bill undergoing a third surgery in November 2014. Prior to the bladder cancer, Bill has had many issues with his colon throughout his entire life stemming from a defect at birth. In January 2015, after consulting with his doctors in Greenville, SC he was advised to make a trip to Cleveland, OH to seek expert attention from the top specialists in this field, as the condition of his colon was extremely
severe.
Following the advice of his doctors, Bill made the trip to Cleveland, this venture was very successful and encouraging. The doctors have now scheduled Bill to have surgery to repair his colon on March 6th, 2015. Bill has since returned home to SC, but must return to Cleveland, OH again soon for his surgery. The costs of the first trip to Cleveland, paired with Bill's past year's medical expenses from cancer surgeries took all the remaining funds the Putnam's had in savings . The trip back to Cleveland, OH along with the surgery costs will be significant. On top of this, Bill will be required to take a two month absence from work to recover post-surgery. Bill and his family need financial help, and will be extremely grateful for your support. We believe in our God and the power of prayer.
