<div><strong>Billie Braun-Adams has been a huge supporter for everyone in Barstow.</strong> Anytime, day or night, when she gets a call for someone in need, she is there.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Now Barstow needs to be there for her.

</div>
<div>Friends of Billie’s Kitchen!
</div>
<div>We’re reaching out to rally support and help Miss Billie cross the final stretch toward reopening her beloved community restaurant. She’s so close — but like many small business owners, she’s hit a few financial hurdles that she can’t overcome alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And while Billie would never ask for financial help herself, those of us who have seen her generosity and dedication know she deserves it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A Little Background
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Billie opened her small restaurant right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the odds, she worked tirelessly to create not just a great place to eat, but a positive, uplifting space for the Barstow community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the years, Billie’s Kitchen has:
</div>
<div> Hosted free community events for our kids and families - including Letters to Santa Christmas Party and A Very Hoppy Easter Adventure!
</div>
<div>‍♀️ Partnered with local law enforcement for “Tacos with Cops”
</div>
<div>‍♂️ Welcomed Bear Son for a meet-and-greet
</div>
<div> Fed and sponsored local sports teams
</div>
<div> Rewarded kids with free ice cream for good grades
</div>
<div> Sponsored local athletes and pageant contestants
</div>
<div> Fed unhoused neighbors countless times
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>…and that’s truly just the tip of the iceberg.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Where Things Stand Now
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After outgrowing her first location, Billie was offered the chance to move into a larger space — a dream come true! But the building had been untouched for over a decade and required massive cleanup and renovation before she could even begin operations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Billie gave up her original location to focus on the remodel. She and her family have poured thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours into this new space, doing as much as possible with their own hands.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, she’s nearly there — but still needs help to finish the final, expensive steps before reopening.
</div>
<div>How You Can Help
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve ever enjoyed a meal, a smile, or a memory at Billie’s Kitchen — or if you simply believe in supporting someone who gives endlessly to others — please consider donating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every dollar helps bring Billie one step closer to reopening her doors and continuing to pour love, kindness, and great food back into the Barstow community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Thank you for your generosity, support, and belief in Miss Billie.
</div>
<div>She has worked tirelessly to feed our community at Billie’s Kitchen and is trying to have a bigger and better place for the community of Barstow, but she needs our help. <strong>Let’s show Billie the support she has shown us!</strong>
