Billie Jo Folds, Our loving Mother & Grandmother

My name is Crystal and Billie Jo or BJ as she was known to some is my mother. She raised 3 beautiful children, my brother Donavan, my sister Jessica, and I but she was a mother to all who met and knew her. She was a very strong woman and loved by all who met her. In August of this year my mother was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver. We have faught by her side everyday to make her stronger, to give her hope, and let her know how much she was truly loved and even in her last days she would tell us all how much she loved us….none of us ever would of imagined this would of happened so quickly. As many of you know times are tough, and not just for us but for everyone. My mother never had a plan in motion for anything like this. If you ever had the chance to meet her, you would of thought she would lived forever, she had such an amazing strong willed soul…she was a wild child with a hippie soul…our mom. We weren’t ready to make these decisions yet…we were all just together two months ago and seen hope. We’ve contacted a few funeral homes in my area, but we do not have the funds for our mother’s cremation. We are asking for anyone who wants to donate in our mothers honor, no matter how big or how small, would be much appreciated. My mother didn’t want to be buried and didn’t want a service unfortunately. She asked that all her family and friends gather and have a celebration of life. A cookout, fish fry, memory sharing, laughs and cries, music singing, loud voices rain sing celebration…we just haven’t decided when but any and all who wanna come are welcome.
