The stores selling hermit crabs have no interest in providing proper care information as they know it will discourage sales. Thousands of families return home with a pet they have no idea how to care for properly.
The Land Hermit Crab Owners Society and The Crab Street Journal would like to design an informative billboard ad targeting vacationers at WildWood New Jersey.
LHCOS Local Representative Beth visits WildWood NJ each year to hand out care sheets. We believe a boardwalk ad placed for the summer season will have a huge impact by informing potential hermit crab buyers about proper care and life expectancy.
The ad will contain positive language and provide information. No negativity!
