Bringing Bill Back

We are asking for help for our son, brother, and friend, Bill Barki.  On 12/6/17, Bill underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor that was pressing against his brain stem.   After multiple complications and three more surgeries he had to have a permanent drain put in his head to alleviate fluid on the brain.  Unfortunately, he was left with a paralyzed vocal chord, which left him unable to eat or drink.  He has been on a feeding tube since.  After 3 months in the hospital, he was released with orders for out-patient rehab.  He walks with a walker, continues to be fed through the feeding tube, has bouts of confusion and short term memory loss.

Although we feel extremely blessed that Bill is improving, he still has a very long way to go.  He is unable to work indefinitely and unable to live on his own.  With no income at this time, we are asking for help with the mounting medical bills and also in keeping his medical insurance current.
