Support Bill Whitley and his road to recovery!

My name is Savannah and this GoFundMe is on behalf of Bill Whitley, my long time best friends, father. 

Many of you who have had the pleasure of meeting Bill, know him for his infectious personality, a good ol’ joke, his genuine love for life and a good dinner date with Katie and Olivia. Bill would take his favorite shirt off his back for anyone who needed it, without question, talk to you for hours to hear your life story and always made you smile.

On June 2nd, Bill unexpectedly suffered a massive stroke. These last weeks have truly been some of the most difficult ones for Bill and this family- with so many unknowns, constantly working around the clock to determine Bill’s specific needs for today, tomorrow and the future, taking time off work, seeking health care support daily and trying to simply hold it all together.

Bill built a long time career as an independent home builder and did not have health insurance; because of this, medical bills are not only continuing to pile up but health care support is extremely expensive and hard to find.

Bill has made great improvements, however there is a long road ahead. Bill is fighting and working to continue on a positive path but this family needs support.
