Bill McCords cremation expenses

William Ervin McCord beloved father, step grandfather, sibling, brother in law, uncle and friend passed away peacefully Aug 19 2018 in Austin TX surrounded by friends family and his son, Will McCord  by his side.
He was never alone in there, His sister in law was there the whole time never left his side keeping an eye on him and informing the hospital staff and family of changes and took action when needed. She was very strong and helpful to Will during this time. But that's the McCord way. He was nice to everyone, willing to help a stranger in an instant even if he had never met them. But that was Bill, he would not discriminate and give anyone a chance. He served as a medic in Vietnam saving lives.  Survived throat and mouth cancer after dying on the table. He was a fighter and fought till the very end. He still had his wits about him and a solid mind. Was great with advice if you asked him. He would listen and do his best to do what he could for anyone. He kept his sense of humor always, and could turn an awkward situation normal with a joke or annicocdote.  He was loved by many and will greatly be missed by all who knew or encountered his kind soul.
The passing came very quick and unexpected and his only son and sons girlfriend who loved, lived and helped care for the last 5 years are now humbly needed help with the cremation expenses and and all that comes with that. We also want to have a celebration of his life because he deserves a good celebration.  Also he wanted one thing done with his ashes that he had talked about for years and we want to honor that, it was his only request.  
Anything that family and friends who loved and will miss Bill can donate to this cause. Any amount is so greatly appreciated and we and Bill will be so thankful for any amount you feel you can give. Don't feel you have to pay it all, every little bit helps greatly and will be used for Bill and a celebration of the amazing life he lived. We want to honor his last wishes and get his friends and family together to celebrate his life.
We love you Bill, that will never change. We already miss you so much. 

Thank you for any assistance you are able to give. No amount is to small. It all adds up. This is hard for a lot of people. But remember the good times. He made sure to live life and he did.  

William Ervin McCord, Bill, Dad I love you. You tought me many things. I'm very thankful I got to spend the last 5 years with you.
