Bill Maxim Medical Fund

Our good friend Bill Maxim was badly injured at the District 37 AMA Big 6 GP in Ridgecrest last weekend.  He races in the 60+ class which they combine with the young kids.  When coming fast into a corner Bill was behind 2 young mini riders that were going a lot slower than he was, so he had no choice but to go over the berm and avoid them throwing him over the bars in a bad wreck.  Bill is always thinking about the safety of others first. Bill Maxim has suffered a broken back, multiple ribs, and a collar bone requiring back surgery.

Our Friend Bill is the most giving man I have ever known.  He was there for me when I was injured and anytime I need help.  If you know Bill he would drop everything he was doing and help if you asked.  He is now in need of our help!  At 70 years old he still works every day so he can afford to go race and hang out with his friends at the races.

Bill just went through his back surgery  this week and had rods placed to stabilize his back.  He will be in the hospital for quite a bit longer then off to a rehab facility for a couple more months.   

Any help you could possibly give will go a long way for this awesome Man I am proud to call my friend.  He will have a lot of medical bills and bills that need to be paid when he is in the hospital.
