Bill Densford Funeral Expenses

This is difficult for us, but some have asked how they can help.

Dad was always a giver: his children, his grandchildren, people from church or the neighborhood-if they had a need and dad could meet it, he would. Since dad has passed away, we've been blessed and surprised reading about the number of lives he has touched.

Dad was also a provider. He took good care of his wife, Jean, for over 60 years. He was a great father to Laura and Daryl, always providing for them even if it meant taking on an additional part-time job.

One thing he didn't provide for, however, is his final days and his funeral. His health was pretty good up until his last few weeks when he suddenly and quickly went downhill without much time even for last-minute preparations. They had about $1,000 in expenses at the nursing home that Medicare and his supplement didn't cover and then there's the funeral.

Funerals and everything involved are expensive. We cut as many corners as we could to save money but still honor him as he deserves and as mom needs. Even so, the funeral-related expenses are over $7,000.

We know that everybody has their own needs and responsibilities, but any financial help you could give mom to cover these expenses would be greatly appreciated!
