Bikes for Biologists

Our conservation partners in Tiskita, Costa Rica are in desperate need of your help!
Our biologists Thomas and Susan are working diligently to educate the locals about the severe threats to scarlet macaws such as wildlife trafficking and deforestation while continuing to monitor the wild population on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the program has no motorized vehicle and had to say goodbye to the last working bicycle as it has rusted beyond repair due to the hot, humid ocean weather (see photo). Ideally, we would love to purchase at least four new bikes to allow our biologists, interns and volunteers to go out together. Please help Intertwined Conservation Corp. raise the funds to purchase new aluminum bikes for our biologists. Without these bikes they cannot cover as much ground as they crucially need to be covering in order to protect this remaining population in Tiskita.
