I know personally and are close to a charity called Bikers Agaisnt Child Abuse

They go by the slogan 'no child deserves to live in fear'

And with facts like - during covid lock down, reported Child abuse went up 21% ..

They need all the help they can get,

All proceeds will be given to the president of the UK chapter in person.

Facts about Bikers Against Child Abuse, more widely known as BACA:

1. BACA was founded in 1995 in Utah, USA by a Registered Child Play Therapist.

2. ⁠Dedicated to the belief that No Child Deserves To Live In Fear. The BACA Mission is to empower children that have been physically, sexually or emotionally abused.

3. ⁠BACA is now operating in 48 USA States and 21 Countries worldwide including England

4. ⁠BACA has been in the U.K. since 2015. Now with 6 Full Charter Chapters covering the U.K., with 2 Temp Charters developing.

5. ⁠All U.K. BACA Members are Level 3 Safeguarding qualified.

6. ⁠Anyone wanting to join BACA, must undertake and pass an enhanced Background Check, plus complete 18 months training to work with abused children.

7. ⁠Everyone in BACA is a volunteer. Nobody takes any salary or reward whatsoever. All funds donated to BACA go directly towards their Mission.

8. ⁠BACA Members are not counsellors or therapists, they are simply there for abused children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. National therapy services are overwhelmed with extended waiting times. BACA pays for their children to have access to private therapy without delay.

9. ⁠Children see BACA bikers as a source of safety and protection that removes their fear. When fear is removed then healing can begin.

10. ⁠BACA does not concern itself with abusers, their focus is on abused children and only on children. They do not believe in physical force of any kind, they exist simply to empower abused children through their physical presence.
