Big Screen Opportunity for Detroit Youth

Donation protected
Asbury Park is a tale of survival and injustice through the eyes of inner-city youths; revealing the pain, fears, and obstacles faced daily by kids from those communities.

Several young actors have been tasked with telling this compelling story and some of Hollywood’s elite have decided to join them. Glenn Plummer (South Central/Menace II Society), Jamal Woolard (Notorious), Felicia “Snoop” Pearson (The Wire), Fredro Starr (Moesha/Save the Last Dance),  Jermaine Hopkins (Juice/Lean on Me), and Peter Gunz (Love & Hip Hop) have all joined the cast of Asbury Park.

Our film has been submitted to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, but we still need your help. This is a film finishing campaign, which means it is for the production's final cut finishes and marketing. With your help, we will be able to improve the coloring, effects, and sound of the film while increasing the opportunities for exposure for our talented actors and actresses.

With your contribution, we will be able to see the film through its completion and premiere the film on February 7, 2021. Thank you for your support.

It's time to tell OUR STORY!
