Johnny Dotson eviction/foreclosure

Donation protected
This is my cousin Johnny “Big John” Dotson. Johnny is 100% mentally and physically disabled. He gets a SSN disability check of $750 each month, and he is on Medicare and Medicaid. He is functionality illiterate. He has diabetes and has started losing his toes. He has kidney disease and was on dialysis, but they now have his kidney disease under control, so he no longer has to have dialysis. He has heart problems and recently had heart surgery the 2nd week of February. Johnny has lived in his parent’s house his entire life; however, his parents died many years ago. Some years ago, his brother Robert lived with him, and helped Johnny get by. Due to a lot of unpaid property taxes and penalties, Robert got a tax loan with a tax loan finance company, in order to pay the back taxes off. Unfortunately, Robert died several years ago, and at that time the payments to the tax loan finance company stopped. Recently, that tax loan company filed a lawsuit against Johnny, and they are going to evict him and foreclose on the house in a couple of weeks. I was only made aware of this situation in the past couple of days. Unfortunately, due to all of the past taxes, unpaid loan payments, penalties, interest, and lawyer fees, Johnny owes somewhere around $40,000.

I am doing the best that I can to help; however, I am appealing to any friends and/or family to help us raise this money, in order to help keep Johnny in the house he has lived in his entire life. Any contribution, no matter how small, is welcome. Thank you for helping “Big John”....
