<div>We are what the lovely people at Catitude Rescue have called the ‘Big Hero 6’ — although right now we’re more like the ‘Little Hero 6’ but we know we’ll grow into our name someday. After everything we’ve been through, we think we all deserve it.
</div>

<div>Let us introduce ourselves: we are Hiro, Baymax, Honey Lemon, Fred, GoGo and Wasabi. We’re a feisty team of tiny fellas who didn't set out to be superheroes…but sometimes life doesn't go the way you planned.
</div>

<div>A lady moved into her new home and, to her surprise, found us — six nearly new-born kittens — in her shed. She waited and watched, hoping our mum would come back to take care of us. But days went by, and she saw no sign of our mum on her garden camera. We were starting to get very distressed and so was the lady, so she decided she couldn’t wait any longer.

<div>She scooped us all up and took us straight to a lovely vet in Southend. We were only about three weeks old — dirty, full of fleas, and very malnourished. Two of us were fighting just to survive. The vets found out we all had nasty thing called Giardia. That sounds like a super-villain, and to us it might as well have been – it’s a tiny parasite that can be really dangerous for kittens like us. We caught it because we lived in a terrible situation, drinking dirty water and eating whatever we could find. It’s heart-breaking to think about it now.

<div>However, thanks to the vets, we’ve now fought off the supervillain and been treated for fleas, and worms. Two of us needed extra care, but they’re now on the mend and doing much better. Because of everything we’ve been through, we’re on special food from Royal Canin that helps us recover and grow big and strong (the vets say we should stay on it for now.)

<div>Now we’re safe and well (hooray for our team!) and been taken into a lovely foster home near Halstead in Essex while we grow up a little. We’re at last getting the start we should have had, thanks to the kind people looking after us. When we get a bit bigger, around ten weeks old (late July), we’ll be looking for our forever home. We are wishing so hard for a home full of love, kindness, and lots and lots cuddles.

<div>But this care, special food, vet checks, neutering, microchips, flea and worm treatments — it all costs such a lot. And that’s why we really need your help. Any donation, even just a pound or two, can make a massive difference. It will help us stay happy and healthy, and it could change our lives forever. We didn’t ask for any of this - we just fought to survive. And now we have a chance to turn our lives around thanks to kind people like you.

<div>Currently the kittens are on a Royal Canin GI food down to the Giardia. The vets have recommended keeping them on Royal Canin Babycat food both wet and dry to give them the best start.
