In celebration of our 40th Anniversary, we're raising money to create a dedicated Herbal Wellness portion of Big Green's Learning Garden at GALS School in Denver to bring education around how traditional herbs can be used for wellness.
The fundraising goal is $5000 to support this Wellness program. Our goal is to raise $2500 through our Gofundme Campaign, and WishGarden will match these donations up to $2500, to meet our $5,000 goal.
We strongly believe in the power of cultivating a respectful relationship with the natural world. Teaching children about our interconnectedness with plants is one way to strengthen that relationship. With our knowledge of traditional herbs and Big Green's expertise in building learning gardens for schools, it is our hope that these Wellness Learning Gardens will inspire a life-long curiosity about traditional herbs and the important role they have in our daily lives.

This pilot Wellness Learning Garden will be created at the Girls Athletic Leadership School of Denver (GALS). GALS Denver is a DPS school that fosters academic excellence and personal development for young women to become powerful advocates for themselves and leaders in their communities, with a focus on movement. Hannah Powers, educator at GALS School in Denver, will be leading the charge with her classroom of kids as they create and learn about the traditional use of herbs in the first ever Big Green Wellness Learning Garden.
