It's with great sadness that I've heard that Biff Cunningham (1800 North New Hampshire's Maintenance genius) is having to leave his position because of medical reasons. Biff has been so friendly and helpful to me and, I think, all of us. I, for one, would like to see him go with at least some money in his pocket - especially given the circumstances.
I'm going to post a message from Carl below and if anyone wants to talk to me about this, I'm in apartment 133.

"While the idea was not mine to set up the fund, I wholeheartedly agree. Rollo Ross has asked me to write this plea to all of you residents, current and former, as well as those of you who are vendors and have worked with Biff.
Biff Cunningham, long time maintenance man at Los Feliz Club Apartments has suffered a life-changing medical event, which has robbed him completely of his short-term memory.
Some of you have contacted me with concerns about him and it has become clear that he can no longer serve in this position.
The law in such cases allows the worker only two weeks to vacate housing provided. The owners of the building have allowed 90 days for Biff to make his move.
This fund is set up to help alleviate the financial burden of Biff's unexpected move to his father's property in Temecula, where, over the next 10 weeks, his family and friends will be rehabbing a trailer to create suitable housing.
Biff was always eager to help everyone and make them comfortable in their new homes here. The fact that he can no longer do so is really affecting him.
If you can make a donation here, we have an opportunity not only to help cover some of the financial aspects of the move, but also to show our combined appreciation by helping him comfortable in his new home as he strove to for all of us.
If you want to separately send him a card of thanks for all he has done, that would be the best medicine for his current mood.
