Bidwell Park Sock Project

As a homeschool student during Covid-19, six year old Maverick decided he wanted to do something nice for others during the Holidays. Normally he would have the chance to work with his Kindergarten classmates to do something for the community, but this year things are different. Maverick is asking for your help, as he and his cousin attempt to raise money to provide 100 pairs of socks and a donation of $200 to the local shelters in Chico, CA. Maverick enjoys riding bikes through Bidwell park, and quickly noticed the number of people who call Bidwell park home. He decided he wanted to do something nice for these men, women, and children for the Holidays and noticed the number of people who didn't have socks. So, socks for Bidwell was born, and now Mav and Levi need your help to make it happen this Holiday season.  

All donations will be taken to local shelters before Christmas here in Chico. The number of people in need has grown over the years, and includes individuals and families. Many people were displaced due the fires in Butte County, and simply have not been able to provide for their families in the same way they were before. This is one small act of kindness that we can help Maverick and Levi provide to a community in need.
