Bideford Half Marathon for ChemoHero

Tax deductible
Holly & I are currently training for the Bideford Half Marathon on March 3rd, which I’ll be running in aid of ChemoHero.

Holly won’t be joining me in the half marathon, but she’s doing nearly all the training with me. We’re both going tea-total till March and I’m laying off the cakes and dog biscuits (she’s eating twice as much).

ChemoHero is an amazing local charity. It was founded by my friends Rob & Lisa, after Lisa was diagnosed with cancer.

ChemoHero works with local businesses, community groups and tirelessly fundraises to produce boxes of kindness filled with useful and luxury items that are then given to people with cancer who are receiving intravenous chemotherapy.

The ChemoHero boxes are given out at the North Devon District Hospital in the Seamoor unit on patients first treatment or are hand delivered by dedicated volunteers through a referral process.

So if you see Holly pulling me up the hills around Barnstaple or after the occasional squirrel, give us a wave or beep your horn.

And please give what you can to help ChemoHero in their mission to deliver kindness in a box.
