BibleTranslation from Hebrew

Shalom!

My name is Rabbi Amnon Shor. I’m an Israelite, born and raised in the land of Israel to an orthodox Jewish
Yemenite family. My ancestors were taken captive to Babylon during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar in
586BCE. When the Medo-Persian King Cyrus issued a decree permitting the Jews to leave Babylon and go back to Jerusalem to rebuild the city, my family did not go back to Jerusalem. Instead, they traveled south to the Arabian coastline city of Aden, to what is now called Yemen. Then, in 1935, after being in exile for
almost 2,500 years, my grandparents came back to the land of Israel. I remember one day, when I asked my grandfather Zachariah, “Saba, (which is Hebrew for grandpa), why did you come to Israel when none of the other generations before you chose to"? He replied, “Son, this is the time of our redemption,This is the
time of Messiah.”

Hebrew in its purest form and proper pronunciation was fully kept only by the Yemenite Jews, who belong
to the tribe of Judah. Many proper sounds of Hebrew letters like-Hey ,"ה" Het ח"", and Ayin ע"", and the
letter ""ר Resh, were and still are mispronounced by most people in Israel today. However, it was not the
case for the tribe of Judah. Therefore, many of the Yemenite Jews automatically became teachers to the
new comers.

There are so many intricacies to God's Word that are hidden in one place,  and revealed in another.
By understanding the Hebrew language, we not only see this, but comprehend Scriptures much more
clearly. This is not to say that translations are not good or inaccurate, but you have to take that into
account, that in every translation, much is missed. This translation is not to point out the errors,
but to expand and amplify the importance of the Hebrew language. It is the original language in which the
Bible has been written. Moreover, it is the language that God used to create the world.

My goal is to translate the Bible from the original Hebrew and Aramaic languages to the proper and correct English as it is understood today. There are many translations available, and some are far from being
accurate, due to the fact that most translators were not native Hebrew speakers.  Accuracy in translation is
imperative, to give the reader the best understanding of the Word of God in both context and meaning.

These funds will be used to provide for the time needed to work on all aspects of this translation, and also to produce the manuscripts for publishers review, and promotions.

This endeavor is a lifelong project that has been my calling and passion for many years.  I believe
this Word is necessary for today's "Body of Messiah".

I'm eternally grateful to all of you who respond to this important request.

Many Blessings,

Rabbi Amnon Judah Shor D.Min
