Hello everyone!
We are the Burlington High School A Cappella Choir. Recently, our choir director, Ms. Penny Yanke submitted an application video of us for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Washington D.C. on December 4th. We have just received the exciting news that we have been invited to sing with ten other choirs for the pre-show in President's Park, which encompasses The White House. We have one setback though, we received the news yesterday and the ceremony is in just two weeks. We need your help to raise the money quickly so that we can take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity! To get there, we are planning to take a bus, and we would be staying overnight in a hotel. With 30 of us travelling there, the estimated cost would be $330 per person. For many of the students, this cost is not feasible. Please consider helping us get to Washington D.C. ANY amount you can donate will help and be greatly appreciated! Oh, and did we mention? We are the first group from Wisconsin to receive this great honor! Help us make Wisconsin history!
