SUPPORT CARESSA

Our Beautiful neice Caressa will be having a big 8hr surgery on July 21,2014.   My sister Elissa will be by her side the whole time as she is only 10 years old.  Elissa has had to take a leave of absence from work.  They have 3 other children at home and will only be living on one income.  This is going to be a long battle,  Caressa and her mom will be away for up to 3 months.  We ask for your support and prayers in this time of need.

Friends and family have been asking about what caressa has. Caressa was born with MHE multiple hereditary exotoses. It is a rare condition in which Caressa is missing a protein to tell her body to stop making bones. Caressa has bone tumors with there own cartilage caps. This causes pain as they rub on soft tissue, it has made Caressa have one leg shorter then the other and this is why Caressa is having her leg lenghthened. Caressa will also have a joint replacment done on her finger this is a trial operation and if it goes well the drs will look at doing more. Caressa"s surgeries are made more difficult by the 2 types of rare lung disease( bronchitis obliterance and bronchiectis sorry if spellings off) Caressa has.
