Brooke's Brave Fight Funeral Fundraiser

Brooke was 4 weeks postpartum when she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Choriocarcinoma. There are five types of GTD that one can be diagnosed with. Brooke was diagnosed with the rarest form out of the five. Typically when someone is diagnosed with Choriocarcinoma it is after a miscarriage.  Not only did Brooke have the rarest form of GTD but she also was diagnosed after delivering a baby. The medical world was in shock as this was the first case they had ever seen like this.

Brooke spent 55 days in the ICU fighting for her life. Brooke's faith and will to live for her two girls kept her going day after day. Those 55 days were a roller coaster of events. On May 29th, 2019  at 29 years old, Brooke passed away. Brooke is a new mother of two beautiful baby girls. Claire is almost 3 months and Caroline is almost 16 months old. 

My family is setting up this gofundme in order to support funeral costs. Our original gofundme was set up to support Brooke transferring to a cancer center in Chicago, however, Brooke got too sick too quickly to be transferred. The money previously raised will be split between Brooke's two beautiful baby girls, Caroline and Claire.
