Bary

My sister's only child, Bary, has stage 4 colon cancer. Over the past six months he has grown increasingly weak and has dropped over 60 pounds. Bary's one wish is to have the opportunity during his life to go to Hawaii. He has an uncle living there he has not seen in over 20 years.
Unable to work and with little to no savings, Bary is dependent on his mother, my sister. My sister is a 71 year-old retiree. She is the most wonderful person who gives and gives asking nothing in return. She has spent much of Bary's life being a single parent. She lives on a fixed retirement income, and for her to make this trip happen, she would have to deplete her savings significantly. I would like to surprise her with enough funds to, at a minimum, pay for the airfare for her and Bary to make this trip. Bary was told by his doctor the next two months is the window of time, if he is to travel. This spring he is facing a very complex operation that will require an extended stay in the hospital.

I have never reached out to people in this manner, but I am most appreciative to those of you who have taken the time to read this and who help with this request. Bary and my sister are truly two deserving people and I would love to create the opportunity for them to have this memory together.
