Gayle Quin/ Ted Smith's War With Cancer.

I'm starting this campaign on behalf of Gayle Quin and her partner Ted Smith. Already suffering from a myriad of ailments, Gayle was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. She had a mastectomy, and treated herself with cannabis and other holistic therapies. Now the cancer is back and has metastasized to the bone. Gayle continues to treat herself with herbs and Cannabis and is seeing a naturopathic oncologist. She is taking a number of prescribed supplements. As anyone fighting cancer is aware, any alternative therapies are EXTREMELY expensive.
Both Gayle and Ted have given selflessly to the Medical Cannabis Community,fighting for rights, legalization etc. They have given hours and hours of their time, unpaid. Gayle has counselled many, many patients re cannabis /herbal/holistic protocols. Gayle has been billed by many as a kind of “Pot Angel.” With her gentle nature and soft-spoken tones, she’s acted not only as a leading researcher and creator of the club’s vast lotions and potions, but also an impromptu counselor, reflexologist and acupressurist to many of its clients. Ted opened the very first Cannabis Buyers Club in Canada in April 2001. I know of many people who have been helped by Gayle and Ted. One of those people is ME. Diagnosed with terminal cancer in July 2011, were it not for the Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club, I would not have had access to the cannabis that was made in to oil and ultimately saved my life. It's our turn to give back folks. Please give what you can and even if you can't, at least share this to your Facebook page, Twitter etc., so we may assist Gayle and Ted in the battle for her life.
