David Barnett's Fight For Life!!

Hello Everyone...I don't usually do this but we've ALL been affected in one way or another by CANCER. So, I'll just say it, "I HATE CANCER!" And I have a tender heart for anyone in need or whom has been hit with this disease.I Hate Cancer! But My Friends Love Me! I have a friend, David Barnett in desperate need of our help....you see David is 51 years old, graduated from Everman High in the Class of 82 but was a Crowley Eagle from 2nd to 10th grade....so he has many friends in both schools. He's been married 25 years to his wonderful wife Sheryl. They've raised 5 children and have 8 grand kids. All of his children are grown and out on their own except for one son, that still lives at home and always will due Cerebral Palsy. David is the love of their lives are the words of his devoted wife Sheryl.When David was younger he played a little ball in school....after that he did construction for years....and maintained swimming pools for about ten years but he had to quit doing pools due to heart problems. He's had several heart attacks, had 10 stents placed, plus bypass surgery. More recently he was diagnosed with lung cancer. Doctors removed his left lung but the cancer had also spread to his right lung and attached to back of his heart.....now they are just taking one day at a time...leaving it in God's hands...So here's where my plea comes in for all friends and family and anyone who reads this and your heart is touched.....for the cost of coffee in the morning, dinner out once a week, maybe lunch one day a week.....we could help raise this family much needed money. Please consider giving up one of those small things for such a great cause. They are in desperate need of our help. Sadly, David sold most of their possessions last year when the cancer first hit. And now the Cancer is back and he's exhausted everything financially! This family has been through very rough times and just can't catch a break....I know he would never ask for donations...but I WILL! I know I have some pretty generous friends and family...I pledge each of you to help, even if you don't think your donation is very big...please donate something...it's a long way to the goal and I've set the goal very high. Their bills are piled up and it's not getting any easier for them...please help at least ease his mind by taking on part of his financial burden. We can't take his cancer away but we can all agree that Cancer is the worst! We can help thru donations, BIG or small. And regardless of your beliefs, positive thoughts or prayers or both are always good.I would hope that if I were the one in need someone would do this for me.
