The Las Cruces Yankees is a competitive baseball team comprised of 9 and 10 year old athletes from Las Cruces, Alamogordo, Sunland Park New Mexico and from El Paso Texas.
We are the defending USSSA 2013 and 2014 NM State Champions and the 2014 USSSA Global World Series 10U Champions. We are currently ranked #32 in the Nation!
Our boys won the LCYBA AABC City League Championship and traveled to Santa Fe, NM to play in the Willie Mays South Plains Regional Tournament where the boys went undefeated and were crowned the 2014 South Plains Champions!
The next step is to represent our Region and participate in the AABC Willie Mays World Series in Puerto Rico July 30- August 4th!
Our families and players are seeking any donations to help our team get to Puerto Rico. Any donation is appreciated and our boys will be hosting multiple fundraisers during the rest of this month to help them represent at a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!
All these boys shine in their own light but when you put them together they are something special. As a Parent and Coach I've never been more proud of such a great and talented group of kids who always surpass our expectations and continue to keep us all young at heart!!!!!
