Helping Homeless Help Themselves

There are a lot of people needing jobs right now. There are a lot of new entry level jobs being posted everywhere. You can spot new ads every time you go get fast food.

Most jobs require online resumes, a valid phone number, a valid home address, etc...This limits people who don't have a job to afford a phone. It limits people who live too far from the public library to create a resume. It limits people who don't have a valid home address.

Right now I would like to raise some funds to help some people of Warner Robins help themselves.
To start I've been buying bras, various career clothing, hygienic goods like soap, and various other things that will help someone go to his/her first interview.

There's no rush and I'll be glad to post any progress as it comes.

Instead of complaining about the person begging at the stop sign for change, you could be the someone who helped him/her find work without having to speak to him/her directly yourself.

Depending on how this goes, I'd like to look into bulk transportation getting people to and from the library to develop their own resumes. Landing people a job is the first step to landing them a home.

This fundraiser is simply a small step towards helping fill jobs and providing a better future for our community as a whole.
