Old Veteran Needs Teeth

Donation protected
I'm a 62 year old Veteran who is in dire need of dental work.  Any donation will help.  As you can see from my picture, the lack of teeth is causing my face to become crooked. At 62, this is my last chance to have a nice smile. I do not have dental insurance and do not have a service related disability that qualifies me for VA Dental (that's otherwise a very good thing).   I currently live on Social Security.  I receive $1040 a month, my rent is $900.  I worked delivering for Amazon Flex (2 hour deliveries and Whole Foods) until Covid hit.   I'm the old person with heart and lung issues that is the highest risk group, so I've been safely hunkering down.

My teeth are in such bad shape, I never smile with my mouth open. I haven't dated in 6 years.   Sure would like to have a lady friend again.

I went to an affordable dentist recently and spent $1600 ($600 cash and making $200 a month payments on the balance) to get started.  The $600 cash was saved for future bills (electricity, food, etc).  The $1,600 will get me a temporary partial that will realign my jaw. I am going to a low income clinic to have a few extractions performed as I cannot afford to have a regular dentist extract them ($25 vs $250 per).

About me:  I've never had a nice smile, ever.  I once walked into a bar in a third world country when I was in the Navy and had a "working girl" ask what was wrong with my teeth, first words out of her mouth.  I was 19 years old.  That has followed me throughout my life.  My step-mother worked as an office manager for a dentist.  I never had any corrective or cosmetic dental work, guess I wasn't worth it, sadly.  I've always had crooked teeth and terrible smile.

I am a good person, very mellow and kind.  Never been to prison or jail.  I try to do the right things, even when no one is looking. I've worked as a truck driver, chauffeur, Human Resources Manager, recruiter, sawler, forest fire fighter (age 16, told em I was 18), warehouseman... I quit High School at 16, mostly out of boredom.  I scored high on my GED and went into the service at 18.  I've been to college 3 times, probably have enough credits for a B.S. degree, but can't cobble the three together to have an official degree.  I grew up relatively poor, never learned about money, never made a lot of money, so I have very little money, just how my life went.

There is so much more to me at age 62 than I can write here, and probably more that you want to know, lol.  I think I've given you a little insight as to who I am.

I'm at a tipping point where I can get my mouth structurally sound.  If I don't act now, it will be dentures soon, and it will still cost about the same with a much inferior result. The plan includes, reshaping my jaw with a temporary partial, crowns and then  permanent upper and lower partials. I'm also very impressed with the doctor, he listened to me, he understood my financial situation. I can already highly recommend Dentists of Arden. it's in a very nice neighborhood, he left a practice in a nicer neighborhood to start his own practice. it's a very new and modern office including digital x-rays etc. I asked the doctor if I could have a nice smile for the first time in my life, not looking for a Hollywood smile with caps, implants etc, just a "normal" smile.   He said yes, this plan will do that.  Unfortunately it's $10,000 give or take.

Once again, any help will be greatly appreciated.   The first "forms" to realign my jaw are at the dental lab, this is happening,

I gonna smile proudly for once in my life!
