Kyle's Medical and modified van bills

Kyle Herrley is a C6/C7 quadriplegic who was in a tragic car accident on July, 6Th. Kyle was on his way back home in Addison TX, when he flipped and totaled his truck.The accident was so severe he had to be cut out with the Jaws of Life. He has suffered a severe hand injury which ended in amputating a few of his fingers on his left hand. In this tragic accident not only was his truck totaled, but his wheelchair that was on a lift in the back of the truck was also totaled. Kyle and his family are struggling to come up with the funds to cover a new wheelchair and a modified van to fit his needs. His van has to have special equipment to get in and out, transfer the wheelchair, as well as driving modifications. Kyle depends on his hands for not only his career, which he is an architect at a firm in Addison Tx, but to transfer himself from his wheelchair into bed or anywhere.

In 2003 at Abilene High School, Kyle had a life changing accident. At the age of 17 Kyle broke his neck practicing his routine gymnastics exercises. Kyle is paralyzed from the chest down and has no use of his legs. He is able to move his arms, but cannot move his fingers. His entire life has been a constant battle to get him back on track. Kyle was also an A honor roll student and was active in many sports including- Powerlifting, Pole Vaulting, Football, Gymnastics and Track. Kyle has always been a fighter and never let anything come between him and his dream in life, which was being an architect. Despite of his disabilities now, he graduated at the University of Texas at Arlington with his Masters in Architecture.

Kyle is with his family now in Abilene, TX where he can get the love and support he most certainly needs at this point. We are asking for prayers to a speedy recovery and any donations that you may be able to give. PLEASE do not feel obligated to do so! This accident has taken a big toll on Kyle and he is striving to get through it, and will not let anything stand in his way! Kyle is the sweetest and big hearted person you will ever meet. :) We have recieved many donations and want to thank you all who have!
