<div>On July 8th, 2025, Kimberly received the life-altering diagnosis of a rare blood cancer stemming from the JAK2 mutation. Hearing the news felt like the ground shifted beneath our feet, touching each of us in ways words can hardly express.

<div>Kim is the heart of our world, a woman whose kindness, honesty, and unwavering generosity have touched countless lives. She isn’t just a sister, a daughter, or a friend… she’s a caregiver in every sense of the word. She runs a daycare, fosters children in need, and lives every day with a deep sense of purpose and love for her family and community.

<div>Her creativity shines in her poetry, and her empathy makes everyone around her feel truly seen and heard. She’s an old soul with a young heart, always ready with a warm smile or a helping hand.

<div>Even while facing her own diagnosis, Kim continues to care for our mother, Susan, who has been courageously battling cancer off and on for years. Kim never hesitates… she’s there for every appointment, every need, every quiet moment of support. That’s just who she is: someone who shows up, no matter what she’s carrying herself.

<div>Through it all, Kimberly’s sons, Joshua (Natasha Nelson) and Micah Hanna, have been by her side-steadfast, supportive, and full of love. Their strength, compassion, and quiet acts of care have been a source of comfort and stability. They are good sons in every sense of the word, and their presence has meant the world to Kim during this incredibly difficult time.

<div>Now, as she begins this difficult journey, Kim needs our help. The road ahead will be filled with treatments, travel, and time away from work, bringing with it a heavy financial burden. Funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses, travel for treatment, and essential living costs as she focuses on healing.
