Hi everyone! I’m Beverly’s daughter’s, Jessica. I’ve had quite a few people ask for a Go Fund Me to be created so donations could be made. I think that’s incredibly touching and so sweet. My Mom was diagnosed with Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma in January of 2017. It’s a very, very rare type of cancer and there’s only ever been 200 cases documented according to what doctors have told us. She’s had major surgery to remove her spleen and has also had two major strokes recently. The first stroke being May 2018 and the second just a week ago (September 2018) Her latest diagnosis from IU Hospital North in Carmel also includes liver failure, hepatic encephalopathy, and hypoxemia. She’s been in and out of Parkview Randallia and Parkview Regional North as well. My Mom does not have any health insurance. We cannot afford to put her in hospice as they quoted my Dad around $300 a day. In order to take care of her at home, we use a commode (bedside toilet), commode liners, bed mats, lots of medical gloves, lots of baby wipes, Depends for Women- currently renting a hospital bed for her at $215/month, the list goes on and on. My Dad also pays for all her medications and doctor visits out of pocket. She was receiving treatments at the Carmel Health and Wellness Center, but she is no longer well enough to travel in a vehicle. My Mom has 1 son (Luke), 1 daughter (me) 4 granddaughters Bella, Violet, Havana, and Meira. Also 1 brand new grandson, Adrián. From all of us we truly thank you for anything.
