Beverly DI team going to Globals!!

We're so proud of our six Beverly elementary school students (5 from Cove School and 1 from Hannah) and their two team managers who placed 1st in the Destination Imagination Regionals and then again at States! This amazing accomplishment qualifies them to go to Tennessee to compete at Globals in May where 15+ countries are represented and compete against each other!
While this is an amazing feat, it it comes with quite an expense that needs to be raised immediately in order for them to participate. The cost is $750 per person and flights add about another $550 per person. Our goal of $10,000 will pay for our amazing kids and their coaches to take part in this (possibly) once in a lifetime experience. Any amount that you can contribute to help these kids is greatly appreciated.
The mission of Destination Imagination is as follows: To develop opportunities that inspire the global community of learners to utilize diverse approaches in applying 21st century skills and creativity.
The Destination Imagination program is a fun, hands-on system of learning that fosters students’ creativity, courage and curiosity through open-ended academic Challenges in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), fine arts and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process.
