¡Hola! Me llamo Bettina. Tengo 21 años. Soy de Merida, Venezuela. Acudo a ustedes para pedirles ayuda ante la situacion mas dificil de mi vida. Soy hija unica de una madre maravillosa, vivo con ella y mi abuela que es una persona muy mayor, y en Octubre del 2017 me dieron la noticia menos esperada y mas dura que he podido escuchar, tras años haciendose mamografias, aparecieron unas microcalcificaciones y el medico sugirió biopsiar y el 26 de ese mes le diagnosticaron a mi mama (Betty Platters) un cáncer de mama (carcinoma ductal infiltrante/invasivo)..
Tras realizar los examenes correspondientes postdiagnostico , por si fuera poco, aparece un tumor un el riñón izquierdo, por lo que le hicieron una nefrectomía total del riñón izquierdo y se manda a biopsiar, resultando que la lesión se trató de un Leiomiosarcoma Fusocelular (El leiomiosarcoma renal es una patología rara y agresiva, constituyendo el 2% de los tumores malignos renales del adultos). Posterior a eso se le practico la operación de mama, haciendole una Mastectomia Radical Tipo Maden Derecha. Durante la operacion se diagnostico ganglio positivo por lo que el cancer hizo metastasis en ganglios. El tratamiento incluye: 8 quimioterapias que se aplican cada 21 dias: Una fase de 4 quimioterapias de adriamicina y ciclofosfamida y luego una fase de otras 4 de Docetaxel. El objetivo de esta campana es cubrir los gastos enormes y permanentes: medicamentos de quimioterapias que deben importarse, aplicaciones, exámenes de laboratorio constantes (pre y postquimio),
tomografías con doble contraste (cuyos precios están muy elevados, lamentablemente no podria decir exactamente la cantidad ya que en Venezuela aumentan los costos cada semana), resonancias magnéticas, radioterapias (que no las hacen en mi estado y cuyos costos son totalmente inalcanzables para nosotras), compra de bloqueadores hormonales que debe tomar por 10 años (los cuales no se consiguen aquí en Venezuela).
Tristemente para nadie es un secreto la grave y cada vez peor situación social, económica, política, sanitaria y en salud de nuestra Venezuela que nos deja desvalidos ante una eventualidad tan delicada como lo es un cáncer, es todo muy inaccesible, con nuestra moneda no tenemos acceso a comprar ni siquiera alimentos, las medicinas y atencion en salud son muy caras, hay que importar practicamente todo lo que es muy dificil e inaccesible...
Por eso acudo a ustedes que se que tienen un corazon enorme y entienden el valor y amor que se le da a una madre y lo duro que es sentir que pueden perderla por no poder acceder y darle lo que necesita... No importa de que tamaño sea tu donacion, cada una cuenta. Lo mas importante para mi es tenerla por muchisimos años mas a mi lado y que este sana para que siga enseñandome y regalandome todos los dias su sonrisa, proteccion, enseñanzas y amor incondicional...
