Betty Le's Battle w/ Breast Cancer

Betty was diagnosed with stage 2 Breast Cancer in November of 2017.  She has undergone 8 rounds of chemotherapy and 2 surgeries.  In July of this year, after her second surgery, her cancer was determined to be Her2 positive and stage 3.  This has changed the doctor's treatment strategy and she will now receive chemo every 3 weeks for the next year.

Betty, her husband Eddie and daughter Emily have been through a lot the past 10 months and now face at least another year of active treatment and up to 10 years of maintenance beyond that.  Any financial support that can be given will go towards helping with expenses they have already incurred and will continue to incur in the future.  We are hopeful that those in our local community will come together to help.  This will allow Betty and Eddie to focus  on the emotional side of her recovery, instead of the financial side.

Eddie has been a manager at Crust Pasta and Pizzeria since it's opening in Alpharetta in May of 2014.  In honor of Betty this October, Crust employees will be wearing her name on their pink chef coats and aprons as part of their uniforms during Breast Cancer Awareness month.  We hope to raise awareness on behalf of everyone who is battling breast cancer and to  direct anyone, who feels so inclined, to help with Betty's Battle by donating directly to the family here, or to anyone else suffering from this devastating disease.
