Betty Conley Memorial Scholarship

Donation protected
On July 8, 1993, Betty Conley, 37,  was shot and killed while working an overnight shift at the Xtra Mart convenience store.  She was shot once in the head with a pistol between 2 and 3 a.m. and $100 was missing from the cash register when her body was discovered.
Linda Conley was 17 and her brother Jeremiah was 14 when their mother was killed. Linda had just graduated from Galway High School and Betty was working two jobs and was saving money toward Linda's college tuition.

In the spirit of honoring the memory of her mother in a positive and meaningful way, Linda  would like to create a scholarship in Betty's name. This scholarship would provide a graduating Galway High School student in need with funds to apply toward college or vocational school tuition.
If this fundraising campaign is successful, the hope is that the scholarship would be delivered annually to a graduating senior.
