Betty and Fernando Castillo

If you have met Betty and Fernando and your not already family chances are good you still call them Mom and Dad or "Pops". Two of the truly good people in this world today. Well Pop's went into the hospital back on the 26th for simple stomach hernia operation. The operation had some complications effecting his esophagus. The day after being released from the VA hospital he began to have trouble breathing and went back the local hospital. His esophagus was leaking and he had an infection. An infection so bad they had to  medevac him to Stanford hospital. Here they had to put a stint in his esophagus, insert a feeding tube and collapse his lung just to clear the fluids and infection. He has a long road ahead of him. They plan to keep him at Stanford for a couple weeks and then he has another 4 to 6 weeks of taking it easy and eating through a tube. 
This is the basic run down of what happened. The money is needed because "mom" is staying in a hotel to be close. And if you have ever stayed in even a cheap hotel in the south bay you know it's not cheap. Never mind the meals.  "Pop's" obviously can not run his cabinet shop which IS their income. I know money is tight for everyone. But if you can skip on meal out or one coffee every little bit helps. Please share this anyway you can. Lets get the word out to as many people as possible.
