Better Life for Carlitos

I am Lourdes Valencia. I am a mother of a wonderful child called Carlos José Pazmiño Valencia, he is 12 years old, blind for 6 years, has burned the retinas and in only 18 days totally lost vision in both eyes.
He is a patient of the Jackson Memorial Hospital, he is beign treated for Batten Disease which is a deadly and hereditary disorder of the nervous system that begins in childhood. Also known as Spielmeyer-Vogt-Sjogren-Batten disease, it is the most common form of a group of disorders called neuronal ceroidolipofuscinosis. Over time, affected children suffer from mental disabilities, more severe seizures and progressive loss of sight and motor skills. Eventually, children with Batten's disease become blind, bedridden and even demented. Batten disease is often fatal in the late years of his youth. We need your help so my son can keep taking medications for his seizures and save some funds for when God decides, and be able to take his body back to my country Ecuador.
