LEGS OF BRIAN

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Brian. If you know me then you'll know that my life is pretty busy chasing any bicycles in my path, keeping runners in line, and making sure golfers don't interrupt my walks.  Talking of those walks I've not been enjoying them much lately. My legs keep giving up on me.  I noticed it at first when all those pesky squirrels on my wood walks kept out running and mocking me.  Then my mate Foxy (that's him in the photo with me) who loves to just stroll along behind me was having to wait for me!  Last week my legs went completely. Turns out it's something called cruciate ligaments. Apparently they tend to go on my breed.  It's flipping painful and expensive too, not to mention downright annoying as I have so much going on this month.

I will pass you over to my hooman now as I am going for a snooze it has been a busy day.

Hello, so as Brian said, he needs his legs fixed to enable him to enjoy his life again.  But  first, I would like to tell you a little bit about Brian .  He belongs to my sister and was rehomed by her 5 years ago but she feels the lucky one as he is the most wonderful, funny boy.  He brings a lot of laughter and happiness to everyone around him.

Sadly now his legs have both gone and my sister doesn't have dog insurance (I know a collective "Are you crazy" but  as we all know, pet insurance does not come cheap, and so it was always a case of I will do it next month.  Unfortunately, it is now too late for next month as his little legs have packed up on him and, as Brian said, it turns out that leg repair does not come cheap in dogs.  Another reason to bless the NHS.  Like a lot of people, my sister lost work due to Covid and is desperately trying to get some money together to pay for this serious operation.  She has got some together but is never going to reach the overall cost of £6,000.

Now I know she would sell her flat to pay for this but I don't have any room to put the pair of them up so I suggested throwing herself on the mercy of mostly strangers.  I also know it has been a tough year for most people so asking for money for a dog to have his legs repaired will be way down most people's lists.  There are also some incredibly important and desperate appeals on here,  but if this touches any of the many wonderful dog lovers who could see it in their hearts to dig into their pockets to help the legs of Brian our gratitude would be incalculable.   Brian has his own Instagram account #ThelifeofBrian.  We would love you to follow him along his journey.  Thank you so much for reading.
