<div>Hi my name is Betsy, I am autistic and got ADHD(AUHD) . I also have high anxiety. I get overwhelmed really easily in big places like shopping centres. Having a therapy dog right by my side when I do get overwhelmed or anxious will be everything I need . I am now going to tell you a bit about what happened over the past year. I joined year 7 in 2024 in a main stream school. Only a few weeks in I couldn’t cope with the environment. I stopped going to school completely. So my amazing auntie helped me home school. I did go in to school 3 times a week for an hour for wellbeing. I really struggled at home schooling and wished I could go back to school. My mom and dad was FIGHTING for a place for an independent specialist school what are so hard to get in to . So now I’m in year 8 and now go to a special school! But every morning I still get anxious about going to school so the dog would help me in the morning. The money raised will go towards the cost of a good breed of dog, one where the line breeding has produced successful therapy dogs , plus the training and certification for the dog. So please even if you can’t donate please share as every little would help and contribute to my dream of getting my therapy dog ❤️
