Betsy's Moving Fund

     After losing all my retirement money due to the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, I ended up also losing my home in 2013. I moved to a nice little rental house in South Sarasota where I expected to live out my days. But now, 4 years later, at my current age, 75, my landlord has effectively doubled my rent which I can't afford. Neither can I afford to move. But, I AM moving, downsizing once more, and I have no money to pay the movers. Will be doing as much advance packing as I'm physically able to, to defray moving costs. And I will enlist the help of friends to pre-move some packed boxes and garden things--large potted plants, my orchids, my lemon tree, etc.  But I still need movers to do some packing and then the actual move. Will unpack myself. The move must happen at the end of October and will cost $2400-2600, maybe less, maybe more. The funds must be in my bank by Oct. 30.
