Betsy Reichard, our dear wife, mother, and grandmother, was recently diagnosed with inoperable stage four stomach cancer.
After being in severe abdominal pain and bedridden at home in Washington for months, she was finally convinced by family that it was time to seek medical help. The Dr. found three large tumors in her abdomen and suspects one on her brain. Because her condition had gone undiagnosed for so long, it is the Dr.'s opinion that at this point the best option for her is to forego a dangerous operation and to simply make her comfortable until she passes.
She is currently in St. Anthony's hopital in Gig Harbor, Washington and we have all been faithfully visiting her every day. Her prognosis is that she will pass within a week or two.
