Betsy Fortier & Children Family Fund

I am Betsy Fortier's stepfather asking on behalf of Betsy  for desperately needed help for her and her five children ages 16 to 6 including two of the children who are autistic. Betsy's husband of 10 years Shawn Fortier (32 years old) has been in a coma since since October 4, 2020 at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL where he remains today in a coma with minimal brain activity going on almost 3 months now. Shawn's condition is the result of a terrible accident he suffered while working on his truck that led to him falling unconscious and being oxygen deprived for an extended period of time suffering severe brain damage.  Shawn's medical expenses are being covered by insurance-she is not asking for help for medical. His wife Betsy's life has been consumed by being at the hospital daily and taking care of her 5 children 24/7 going on 3 months now with no job, minimal resources and amazingly very little public assistance is available to her and her children on such a tragic matter. Rent, food, utilities and fundamental basic life needs has overwhelmed Betsy and her family up to this point and I'm appealing to anyone that can see it in their heart to help my step daughter and grandchildren with anything they can no matter how small. Betsy is a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and  spiritually based human being - her beautiful five children are enduring this horrible situation as best as they can as well - hoping for her help for her and the kids. Thank you for anything anyone can offer. It would truly be life changing for them to be blessed with some financial support in this dire time of need.
